Microsoft introduces the Surface Book laptop.

Redmond has announced its first in-house built laptop called the Surface Book at the Windows 10 event on October 6. A convertible silver metal laptop with a remomovable and flipable 13.5 inch, 267 pixel per inch display screen, built for customers wanting a larger screen and the perfect typing experience, it brings a backlit keyboard with deep keys of 1.6mm travel.
The Surface Book is what Microsoft is calling the “ultimate laptop” thanks to the high specs it comes with, including a strong battery capable of lasting up to 12-hours, been powered by a sixth-generation Intel Core processor, 16GB of RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce GPU making it quite faster than the MacBook Pro, the company claims.
OnStage, Panay of Microsoft detached the Book’s screen off the keyboard, making it look like every other Surface tablet. That’ll come in handy as support for the Microsoft Surface Pen and the Surface Pro dock has been added.

The 128GB/8GB Core i5, Intel HD GPU Surface Book and the 512GB/16GB, Core i7, NVIDIA GPU Surface Book will be arriving stores at $1,999 and $2,699 respectively come october 6.
