Pepsi may be the last company you would associate with smartphones,
but according to a new leak the company may have an Android phone in the
works. Dubbed the Pepsi P1, the smartphone is said to feature a
5.5-inch 1080p display, powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek processor and 2GB
of RAM. The smartphone shows a 13MP shooter in the back, with a 5MP
front-facing camera. Internally, the P1 may contain 16GB of storage
with no word on whether its expandable with a microSD card or not. To
get you through the day, the specs list a 3,000mAh battery, and the
Pepsi P1 is likely to launch with
Lollipop installed.
As for pricing, the report suggests that it is valued at around $205
in China, so its definitely not aiming to compete with flagships.
Whether or not this is a real Pepsi phone, or a case of someone
licensing the name to use is unknown at this point.
