THE WEST AFRICAN UNIVERSITY GAMES (WAUG) 2015

The event which is being hosted by The University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), started on the 17th Of October.

It began with the arrival of the Vice Chancellor of UNN ,Prof Benjamin Ozumba, WAUG chairman and other dignitaries.

The music department was there before their arrival, entertaining th crowd with soft tunes. There was the anthem of Nigeria and the University . Then the welcome address by the VC of UNN.

There was a march past by the teams present after a slight shower of rain.

Then the opening match between host team , University of Nigeria and NUGA champions, Obafemi Awolowo University, (OAU)

UNN won by a goal to none.
