Waking up to the sound of my name shouted three times. Ooh! What again? I said. There was a scheduled cleaning of the church today and I was looking for ways to get out of it. So I went to the next room to greet my parents and decided to sleep a little. I dragged myself until it was an hours past then I sluggishly dressed up and went anyways.

It's always so surprising how as humans we pray to God and expect him to answer so speedily. What if God pays us in the same way we treat him? Late, carelessly, half baked and the like. The truth is: as Christians we are to understand that the things of God are eternal and the things of this world are short lived. 

My point, what will change if we take the things of God as our priorities, if we take our work in church as we take our  jobs on earth. It all revolves around one thing our lives here on earth, our riches, our jobs, families and all the other things we place above God's work are all temporary. We should live with eternity in perspective.
